Studio Theme
Each of the three groups, including ours, made a presentation to pitch our ideas for a theme. Ours consisted of the nature theme, or magnification. Other themes included 'apocolyptic', 'closed doors' , 'design studio' amongst others. After the presentations a vote was taken to approve the most appropriate theme. The vote found in favour of the design studion theme.
The Idea of this theme is to create an exhibition that looks like an art/design studio. drawing tables, pots of paint, paper filled bins etc. With students completed work mounted on the walls, alongside some sketches to give a feel of work in progress.
The class was then seperated into three distinct groups. 1 to create a website, 1 to manage the exhibition and related functions, and another to deal with graphics and associated works.
I formed part of the graphics group, with four other students. We have all been assigned tasks, led by our group leader: craig.
The Graphics team needs to create posters, flyers, a logo for the theme. banners for use with the website. T-shirts or uniforms for use at the exhibition. And any other related artwork
